Setting New Industry Standards in
uPVC Windows, Doors and Conservatories
The profile section on the right is like the one that virtually all Scottish double glazing window, uPVC door and uPVC conservatory companies use - 3 chamber, 1 hollow exterior for a thermal barrier, 1 for steel reinforcing and an inside chamber to retain the heat which coupled with a 28mm double glazed unit has been the industry norm for the past 15 years.
This system has worked reasonably well, however, over the last two years the weather has become more extreme, with heavy rain and wind gusting up to 90mph. These 3 chamber systems have not been designed to take extreme forces of this nature. The Advanced group have teamed up with one of the most experienced companies in the industry - Spectus.
Spectus have tried and tested their product in countries such as Poland where the temperature can drop to as low as minus 40°C to the opposite extreme in India where high temperatures are the challenge.
The Advanced group are the only company in Scotland to supply the new improved 5 chamber uPVC profile. This in conjunction with our new 40mm triple glazed unit means that once again Advanced are delivering the very latest in eco – thermal technology while retaining unbeatable value for money.
